I made a very hard decision recently.. I left my old corp.
I have been playing with them since 2006 and for almost all of that time we have been in 0.0. It wasn’t enjoyable for me any more, but I enjoyed the people so I stuck around for a long time. I finally just dropped co
rp recently and relocated to empire.
Instead I set up a little industrial complex in empire. I have my little corp as part of New Eden Research, where I have labs that anyone int he alliance can use for ME and PE research. I also can let in people into the corp directly to do copying, me, pe, invention and reverse engineering (and use the manufacturing arrays if/when they are open). I don’t have many folks in the corp directly, but its out there.
All in all, I still do keep in touch with my 0.0 friends, and I am enjoyign running my bpo copying/manufacturing business. Between a new job, eq2 and eve I keep busy so the pace here is nice.

It isnt easy, but the way I see it is that this is your fun and do what you find fun. Thankfully my friends in my old corp have a public channel so we all hang out there when were on.
I’ve been thinking about doing that recently too now that things have settled down for me.
